Learn Welding through the use of classroom instruction, Miller's Augmented Reality (AR) Training, and actual welding shop time. During this 150 hour program you will learn shop safety, Metallurgy, Introduction to Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Plasma Arc Welding (PAW) & Gas Welding, Blueprint Reading for Welders, Professional Skills and complete understanding of the 3 basic types of welding:
- MIG Welding (Metal Inert Gas Welding) (GMAW)
- TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas Arc Welding) (GTAW)
- Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)
Upon successful completion students will obtain Miller Certifications in GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW with preparation for AWS (American Welding Society) Testing Certification.
