REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOT YET OPEN
For $20 per car upon arrival, this option provides:
- All-day parking on the Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center parking lot (the arts center is not open)
- A single pair of eclipse glasses
- Access to portable restrooms
- Access to the FLCC nature trails
- Access to the adjacent Star Cider, which will have food and beverages for sale (LINK)
- Access to educational programming at Star Cider by the Saunders Finger Lakes Museum (LINK) and the Canandaigua Lake Watershed Association (LINK)
You must register with a valid email and you will receive directions and other instructions 2 weeks before the eclipse. Registrations without a valid email will be canceled.
Registration guarantees a parking spot for you until 2 p.m. There is no guarantee of space if you arrive after 2 p.m.
By registering, you acknowledge the following:
Payment for parking is cash-only upon arrival. Credit cards, PayPal or other electronic payment meaans are not available.
The weather is unpredictable; Finger Lakes Community College and its partners make no guarantees about your eclipse viewing experience.
Food and merchandise will be sold separately by vendors not affiliated with Finger Lakes Community College.
Except during the brief total phase of a total solar eclipse, when the moon completely blocks the sun’s bright face, it is not safe to look directly at the sun without specialized eye protection for solar viewing.Viewing any part of the bright sun through a camera lens, binoculars, or a telescope without a special-purpose solar filter secured over the front of the optics will instantly cause severe eye injury. Solar Eclipse: Educational Experience with Indoor Access

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS NOT YET OPEN
Advance registration and pre-payment of $15 per person above age 2 provides the following:
- A pair of eclipse glasses
- All-day access to the FLCC main campus building café and lounge
- Access to educational programming from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:
Background on the eclipse and what to watch for
What we know about the atmosphere of Mars
How wildlife respond to an eclipse
Readings of famous works evoking the mystery of the moon
Entry to the current Williams-Insalaco Gallery 34 art exhibit - Access to turf fields and a guided viewing experience with Timothy McConnochie, a Rochester-based research scientist with doctorate in astronomy from Cornell University.
- Access to FLCC nature trails
- Post-eclipse tours of FLCC facilities, including the music recording studio and nursing wing
- The option to buy a buffet lunch for $15 per person over age 2 (Sandwich bar, chips, cookies, soup, bottled water)
- The option to buy a T-shirt for $25
Advance payment is required. You must provide names of attendees but substitutions are permitted on the day of the event.
Food and T-shirt purchases are in addition to the registration fee.
